Share your moment.
There are things we all carry. Feelings we rarely say out loud. Sometimes the most powerful thing is simply knowing someone else feels them too.
That’s what this is for. A place to share your moment, exactly as it is.
We’re building a community on Instagram at @wereonlyhumansstories where real people share real moments to remind each other they are not alone. When you share your moment, you might give someone else permission to share theirs, or simply help them know they aren’t the only one.
You don’t need the biggest story. You just need your story.

Record yourself in an environment where you feel safe. We’re looking for realness and humanity—it could be a story while you’re getting ready or a quiet moment in your car before work. Just be real.
Hold your phone vertically and record yourself in whatever setting feels right. You might be by a window, in a park, in your kitchen, or sitting in your car. Let us see a little of where you are and feel a little of what you’re feeling.
Maybe you’re grieving something, struggling with a change, or noticing that a relationship feels different. Maybe you’re afraid of what comes next, feeling alone, stuck, overwhelmed, or simply not like yourself.
It doesn’t have to be dramatic—just something you’ve been carrying. Share what’s been on your mind or how you’ve been feeling lately. Talk for about 60-90 seconds. You don’t need to plan it, script it, or do a second take. There’s no right way to do this. Just your view, your voice, and this moment, exactly as it is.
